Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a positive, orderly learning environment that engages students and maximizes on-task behavior.
• Great verbal communication, time management, and organization skills, and exceptional customer service.
• Exercise good judgment when responding to safety and security violations and emergencies.
• Exercise dignity and respect when interacting with students at all times.
• Develop positive rapport with school staff and students to contribute to a professional learning community.
• Create and follow protocols for the safe and orderly entry, dismissal, and movement of students throughout the school grounds.
• Monitor student behavior to make informed decisions and provide effective communication.
• Prevent trespassing, vandalism, loitering or other acts that contribute to an unsafe or disorderly environment.
• Participate in professional development training to ensure ongoing growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
