The Foundation Schools seeks Dedicated Aides to support assigned students with behavior management and safety throughout the school day, following school rules and policies. You will accompany students to classes and activities, assist with academic tasks, and maintain progress documentation.

You will work under the classroom teacher to implement lesson plans and IEP goals, participate in meetings, and support program activities. This is a 10-month position with non-exempt status.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is required.
• Related coursework; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months of formal training or experience in special education or similar setting preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Shadow assigned student throughout the school day and document progress.
• Help student reduce inappropriate behaviors using behavior management techniques.
• Assist with implementing lesson plans and IEP goals under teacher supervision.
• Provide staff assistance and participate in meetings and activities.
• Maintain documentation of student activities and progress.
• Support classroom activities and transitions between classes.
