Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NYS Fingerprinting clearance required.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Civil Service Eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student support to promote safety and independence.
• Assist with classroom routines, reminders, prompts, and redirection.
• Escort students to and from classrooms and other locations.
• Maintain a safe, orderly learning environment and help with materials.
• Assist with monitoring assessments and use of classroom technology.
• Perform clerical and organizational tasks as needed.
