Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University’s Morgan Academic Center invites applicants for part-time Student Athlete Academic Support Strategist roles for the 2026-27 academic year. You will support at-risk student-athletes by improving study skills, including goal setting, time management, organization, note-taking, reading, and test prep.

Hours up to 20 weekly; evenings and Sundays possible; remote/hybrid not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching is a plus.
• Ability to work with at-risk student-athletes in a diverse university setting.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly appointments with mentees.
• Write and submit timely session reports.
• Attend initial and ongoing meetings/trainings.
• Compliance with MAC, Penn State, B1G Ten, and NCAA policies.
