Job summary

Marist University invites applications for an Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Enhancement. The Center supports over 600 students with academic advising, tutoring, life skills and study facilities, and the role focuses on academic support and student-athlete development.

The position monitors graduation progress, communicates with coaches, delivers development programs, assists with recruiting, and coordinates nominations for academic awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years experience in student-athlete support.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and proficiency with various computer technologies required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress toward graduation and NCAA eligibility of student-athletes by providing academic support services.
• Regularly communicate with coaches regarding student progress and needs.
• Provide student-athlete development programming in the areas of personal enhancement, character development, career readiness, and leadership development through a combination of one-on-one meetings, small group sessions, and presentations to large groups.
• Participate in on-campus recruiting activities with prospective student-athletes by providing information on support services
• Coordinate nominations for academic awards and honors.
• Perform other job related duties as required
