Job summary

Responsibilities include coaching in study skills, regular progress monitoring, and serving as a liaison among students, faculty, and advisors. The role also involves eligibility tracking, recruiting involvement, and supporting orientation and development programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in academic support.
• Background check and possible credit check required.
• Must comply with Title IX reporting and CSA responsibilities.
• Strong communication with coaches, faculty, and advisors.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic academic support and coaching in study skills, time management, and other aspects of student life.
• Meet regularly with student-athletes to monitor progress, class attendance, and grades; report progress weekly to coaching staff.
• Provide information to student-athletes and coaches regarding institutional policies, academic requirements and athletic eligibility.
• Assist in course scheduling and act as a liaison between student-athletes and faculty, academic departments, and professional advisors.
• Monitor and track athletic eligibility and academic progress with certifying officer and advisors.
• Participate in the recruiting process by meeting with prospective student-athletes in assigned sports.
• Assist in developing student-athlete orientation and career development programs.
• Perform similar or related duties as assigned.
