Penn State University in the Morgan Academic Center (MAC) seeks a Student Athlete Academic Adviser to support football student-athletes with academic progress and eligibility, and to teach a first-year seminar as part of the program.
The role requires collaboration with coaches and university staff, adherence to NCAA and Big Ten rules, and frequent evening/weekend commitments for study hall and recruiting activities.
The Student Athlete Academic Adviser position in the Morgan Academic Center (MAC) reports to the Director for Football Academic Support Services. The MAC is an academic support unit that provides services to student-athletes and reports directly to the Vice-President and Dean for Undergraduate Education. This job will be filled as an Intermediate Professional.
The position must maintain strict adherence to NCAA and Big Ten Conference rules and regulations affecting the sport and the University.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $49,188.00 - $71,340.00.
