Job summary

The Del Mar College Testing Center seeks a Student Assistant for the Technology Resource Center / Student Success Center pool. The role provides frontline support to students with technical issues, and assists with the loaner laptop/calculator program on campus.

You must be a current Del Mar College student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. The position is a part-time, on-campus assignment with flexible hours and a focus on customer service and clerical duties within a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform data entry and clerical tasks.
• Able to assist with loaner program for laptops/calculators.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to students with computer issues.
• Assist with loaner program by checking in/out laptops and calculators.
• Ensure computer lab is clean and orderly for student use.
• Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
• Complete updates on all laptops.
• Answer phones and provide information about check out requests.
• Data entry on the TRC Contract for checking out equipment.
• Filing.
