The Resident Assistant (RA) position at the University of West Georgia is a live‑in, undergraduate or graduate student leadership role who serves as a member of the Housing and Residence Life Staff and reports to the graduate Resident Director or designee. The RA is responsible for the overall development of a community on a designated floor or area. The RA will assess and meet the needs of residents living in their area through daily interactions and implementation of our learning goals and outcomes. The RA is responsible for facilitating learning, building positive community among residents, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment, and serving as a departmental and university representative and role model.
