Auburn University’s Korea Center–King Sejong Institute seeks a Student Worker to assist with daily office operations, cultural programming, and campus engagement initiatives. Overview

The Korea Center–King Sejong Institute is seeking a Student Worker to support daily office operations, cultural programming, and campus engagement initiatives. This position assists with administrative tasks, event coordination, student programs, and outreach efforts that promote Korean language and culture within the Auburn University community.


Responsibilities


  • Handle general office duties, including answering phones and emails, data entry, and filing.

  • Run errands on and off campus as needed.

  • Assist with the Cultural Program Specialist for daily tasks.

  • Help plan and organize monthly buddy program meetings and student orientation.

  • Engage with the campus community to promote Korean language and culture.

  • Manage social media accounts and create posts, newsletters, and promotional content for events on and off campus.

  • Currently enrolled student at Auburn University.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Willingness to learn new skills as needed.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to support teachers and staff professionally.

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Passion for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Must be able to work 5-10 hours per week.
