Job description

Under close supervision of DWR's Supervisor of Technical Publications and Staff in the Technical Publications and Communication Media unit, Project Services Office, Division of Planning, in a learner capacity, the incumbent provides document cataloging and archiving services, formatting and styling, and editorial analysis. Incumbent will also participate in internal training and workshop discussion activities intended to increase knowledge and sharpen skills. Teleworking is available for this position, with occasional in-office hours.

Special Requirements

All applicants for Student assistant positions must meet the following departmental eligibility requirements :

  • Enrolled in nine (9) semester / eight (8) quarter units for undergraduate students of six (6) semester / four (4) quarter units for graduate students.
  • Achieved a 2.0 grade point average in the most recently completed academic term.
  • Declared a major related to the duties of the advertised position and enrolled in coursework required for that major.
