New York City College of Technology, part of the City University of New York, seeks a Manager of Student Advocacy and Accountability to lead student conduct operations, oversee disciplinary processes, and coordinate with Academic Affairs, Public Safety and central offices. The role emphasizes fairness, restorative practices, and student success.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with six years’ related experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years' related experience required.
• Preferred: Master's in Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Student Affairs or related field.
• Familiarity with FERPA, the Clery Act, Title IV programs and student disciplinary/policies.
• Ability to interpret and communicate policies to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of the student conduct process for the college.
• Investigate incident reports and policy violations under applicable laws and bylaws.
• Track and maintain student conduct records and reports.
• Oversee disciplinary committees and ensure due process compliance.
• Develop holistic approaches to student conduct; manage SAP and Title IV processes.
• Supervise staff and collaborate with Academic Affairs, Public Safety and central administration.
