Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field required; doctorate preferred.
• 7 years experience in a university setting with academic misconduct adjudication responsibility.
• 5 years supervising full-time staff.
• Experience investigating student conduct and appeals.
• Understanding AI technologies and their impact on higher education.
• Culturally competent with diverse student populations.
• Strong crisis management and data-driven decision making.
• Flexibility to work some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates student conduct and academic integrity violations.
• Represents and presents case materials to the Student Conduct Board.
• Trains and supervises Hearing and Development Officer.
• Develops campus programs and workshops; assesses effectiveness.
• Oversees Hearing Board recruitment, training, evaluation.
• Develops policies impacting student behavior; updates handbooks.
• Provides data analysis and coordinates student appeals process.
• Advises students on academic probation, suspension, re-admission.
• Acts as liaison between students and college officials on concerns.
• Coordinates university-wide retention initiatives and efforts.
• Ensures FERPA compliance and records handling.
• Certifies agencies requesting student conduct information.
