Description
Position Title: Student Activities Coordinator.
Department: Office of Student Activities.
Classification: Non-Exempt.
FTE: 0.75.
Work Schedule: The full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position equates to a 30-hour work week. Flexible work arrangements can be proposed and are subject to approval by HR and relevant supervisors. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as needed.
Hourly Rate: $21 - $23.
Essential Job Duties:
• Manage student organization financial, fundraising, and business protocols.
• Process expenditure requests, reimbursements, deposits, and other financial transactions for 200+ campus organizations.
• Reconcile OSA credit cards on a monthly basis in collaboration with appropriate student leaders.
• Collaborate with the Business Office, Bon Appetit, Financial Aid, and other relevant campus partners on financial, fundraising, travel, and food safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain financial procedures concerning Presence, Oracle, Square, Eventbrite, and other fiscal management systems.
• Serve as an active resource and advocate to student organizations and student leaders
• Provide general support and coaching to students who visit the OSA.
• Advise student leaders in budgeting matters, financial procedures, fundraising efforts, and event planning processes.
• Support the administrative work and daily functions of the OSA, as well as the student involvement structures within the office's student involvement umbrella.
• Design, contribute to, and facilitate ongoing leadership development opportunities sponsored by the OSA.
• General responsibilities.
• Invest in the professional development of self and team through various means.
• Assist in the management and troubleshooting of relevant software.
• Actively contribute to office assessment procedures.
• Support, respect, and commit to embracing diverse backgrounds, values, and points of view to build a strong and inclusive community.

• Complete and meet deadlines for required training and performance management cycle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received and Exercised:
• Reports to the Director of Student Activities.
• This position supervises students.
Required Qualifications:
•
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience; maintain a valid driver's license and meet St. Olaf College driver authorization criteria with a satisfactory driving record.

Experience: 1+ year of experience with college student programming, financial management, and/or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Education: Bachelor's degree.
•
Experience: 2+ years of professional/graduate experience.
Prerequisites:
• Employment in this position is conditioned upon successful completion of a background check which may include: criminal background checks, reference checks, verification of work history, verification of any required academic credentials, licenses, and/or certifications, a motor vehicle check, verification of DOT certification, a credit check, employment eligibility verification, and/or a pre-employment physical.
