Job summary

University of Louisville seeks a Financial Assistant II (Student Account Representative) to provide front-line service for student accounts at Belknap Campus. You will guide students and families on payment options and coordinate with Financial Aid, the Registrar, and related offices to ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities include collecting fees, managing payment plans, processing tuition benefits, and maintaining the Bursar site information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred.
• Data entry experience and knowledge of financial aid programs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with university policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide front office customer service for student accounts via phone, email or in writing.
• Collect current semester student fees.
• Monitor payment plans with the outside vendor and update dates as needed.
• Set up Metro College contract estimated payments and support semester payments.
• Explain policies to students, parents and staff per university guidelines.
• Process, adjust and audit tuition remission benefits each semester.
• Update Bursar website with payment plan information.
• Assist and backup the Refund Specialist.
• Support special projects for the Bursar.
