Howard University is seeking a strategic Student Accounts Manager to lead the Office of the Bursar's student account operations, enhance service delivery, and drive data-informed improvements. The role supervises analysts and staff, partners with campus departments, and ensures accurate student accounts and compliance.

The position is full-time and on-site on the Howard University campus, with periodic evening/weekend work during peak enrollment and billing cycles. MBA/advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in student financial services, bursar operations, finance, accounts receivable, or related.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of Student Account Analysts and customer service staff.
• Oversee delivery of student account services across in-person, virtual, email, and self-service channels.
• Manage daily operations including staffing and queue management for efficient service.
• Analyze service and financial data to monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Safeguard institutional revenue with compliance to policies and fiscal stewardship.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid, Registrar, Admissions, Housing, IT, and other stakeholders.
