Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) seeks a Utah State University student majoring in accounting to support day-to-day accounting operations. The position involves accounts payable, data entry, GL account reconciliation, and preparing accounting schedules using Excel.

It is a part-time role during the school year and can be full-time during summer if the schedule allows. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in accounting, possess strong MS Office skills, and can commit to the SDL Student Scholar

Qualifications

The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a Utah State University (USU) student majoring in accounting to assist in day-to-day accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist with accounts payable, data entry, general ledger account reconciliation, and preparation of various accounting schedules using Microsoft Excel. This role is part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer if school schedule allows.

Required Qualifications:
  • Student currently enrolled with Utah State University majoring in accounting
  • Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person
  • Able to support SDL student work schedule (15-20 hours per week during the school year during business hours and 20-40 hours per week during the summer)
  • Self-motivated and able to follow directions
  • Ability to work with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Students in their sophomore or junior year
