Job summary

Branch Civil in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Structures) to support superintendents and the project manager in coordinating activities to meet cost, schedule, document control and quality standards. You will help manage RFIs, change orders, subcontract payments, and ensure timely procurement, permits and insurance while maintaining safety and ensuring project goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma with construction experience and leadership potential.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 5+ years construction experience, 3 in leadership.
Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 7 years construction experience, 3 in leadership.
Strong decision making, accountability and ethical conduct.
Structures/Bridges experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities with Superintendents and Project Managers to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
Monitor RFIs and Change Order logs as required.
Manage subcontract payments and ensure lien releases are obtained.
Oversee shop drawing submittals and project closeout processes.
Develop plans with the Superintendent to achieve project goals.
