Job summary

Mizuho is seeking an Associate for its New York-based Structured Products Structuring and Analytics team. You will provide structuring and analytical support for ABS and bank-funded securitization transactions, and assist with client presentations on asset analysis, structural recommendations, and transaction optimization.

Qualifications

• ABS structuring experience (3+ years) with a top-tier bank or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Intex, CAS, VBA, and Bloomberg.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and create models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to convey ideas clearly.
• Series 79 & 63 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform structuring work for Left and Active Lead roles, including collateral analysis and deal modeling.
• Explain and present structural output to clients and investors.
• Create transaction models, including credit risk retention models.
• Assist with questions from ABS investors on structuring and modeling.
• Collaborate with Accountants on collateral stratification and cash flow models.
• Participate in client meetings focusing on structural recommendations.
• Support securitization team with structuring and break-even loss analysis.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up pitches, models, and analyses.
