Job summary

Mizuho’s New York Structured Products team seeks an Associate to provide structuring and analytical support for ABS and bank-funded securitization transactions. The role requires 3+ years of experience and strong Excel/Intex/CAS/VBA/Bloomberg skills, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of ABS structuring experience with a top-tier bank or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• Proficient in Excel, Intex, CAS, VBA, and Bloomberg; AI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all structuring work related to the Structured Products team’s roles, including collateral analysis and deal modeling using Excel, Intex, CAS, and VBA.
• Explain and present structural output to clients and investors.
• Create transaction models, including credit risk retention models, for issuers.
