Job summary

PGIM, the global asset management arm of Prudential, seeks an Analyst for the Portfolio Analysis Group. The program offers a three‑year rotational path across asset classes and teams, beginning in Structured Products/ABF.

You will work with portfolio managers to analyze risk, performance, and client objectives, while delivering actionable insights that guide day‑to‑day portfolio management. The role follows a hybrid model, with three days in Newark, NJ and two remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio or risk analytics.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Bloomberg, Aladdin, SQL and Python preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to translate complex analysis into insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze portfolio positioning relative to benchmarks, client objectives and risk parameters.
• Produce portfolio analytics and performance attribution to inform decisions.
• Incorporate client guidelines and risk tolerances into monitoring and workflows.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Risk Managers, and quantitative teams.
