Job summary

Loomis Sayles & Company, based in Boston, is seeking a Structured Finance Product Management Analyst to support the investment team and client engagement. This hybrid role blends investment philosophy knowledge with product strategy across the Structured Finance platform, across the US and Europe.

You will work directly with the Investment Director and portfolio managers, gaining exposure to research, client materials, and market strategy.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of investment management experience.
• Strong fixed income knowledge; structured finance knowledge preferred.
• CFA designation, or working toward CFA.
• Product management skills to manage complex projects and timelines.
• Ability to develop deep knowledge of investment philosophies, processes, and strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of the investment team's philosophy, holdings, risk attributes, and performance attribution.
• Update monthly and quarterly client-facing content for sales and service teams.
• Partner with Investment Director and product marketing on product positioning and business plans.
• Respond to RFPs and quarterly DDQs; maintain a standard response library.
• Contribute to white papers, LS Blog posts and other thought leadership materials.
• Respond to ad hoc investment questions and analytical requests from stakeholders; support sales with analysis.
• Assist client intake during onboarding and with mandate changes.
• Help resolve data, reporting, and compliance questions promptly.
• Own standing platform initiatives and drive them to completion.
• Collaborate with broader product management to share best practices.
• Build competitive analyses and support fee proposals with market research.
• Support new product work from seed to launch and initial funding.
• Develop templates and automation to improve iteration efficiency.
