Job summary

Barings LLC in Charlotte, NC invites applications for an Associate Director in Public Portfolio Services (Structured Credit). The role supports CLO funds and separately managed accounts, providing daily oversight and monthly sign-off on accounting records.

You will interact with Portfolio Managers, Sales, Legal, and Compliance, and work with third parties such as TPAs and auditors. Expertise in fund accounting, Excel, and Aladdin is valued, with a strong, detail-oriented, analytical approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years Fund Accounting/Portfolio Administration experience.
• CPA and/or Audit experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience beneficial.
• Experience with Aladdin is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CLO funds and separately managed accounts daily; perform monthly sign-off on internal records.
• Reconcile NAVs, transactions, valuations, and fee calculations; manage distributions and capital calls.
• Maintain relationships with Portfolio Managers, Sales, Legal, and Compliance; coordinate with TPAs and auditors.
• Assist with Funds Audit process and issue resolution.
• Prepare portfolio reporting and act as subject matter expert on covered funds/portfolios.
