The position requires extensive experience in investment management, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team. Location options include Charlotte with consideration for other US locations; travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree and 12–15+ years in investment management or client-facing private credit roles.
• Strong knowledge of fixed income and market dynamics; ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent oral and written communication; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for Barings Portfolio Finance strategy in North America.
• Grow assets under management through client engagement and investment strategy communication.
• Partner with investment teams, sales, and clients; participate in client meetings and requests.
• Lead and develop junior members of the Client Portfolio Management team.
• Identify new product development opportunities for private credit and position Barings offerings.
• Create thought leadership materials with investment teams and Marketing.
