Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant investment, banking, or structured finance experience.
• Strong understanding of securitization structures and collateral-based lending.
• Experience analyzing structured transactions and evaluating credit risk.
• Advanced financial modeling and cash flow analysis skills.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Intex or comparable structured credit analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities across asset-based finance, specialty finance, and structured credit markets.
• Conduct detailed collateral analysis and assess underlying asset performance.
• Build and maintain cash flow models for structured and asset-backed transactions.
• Analyze transaction structures, waterfalls, credit enhancement mechanisms, and downside scenarios.
• Review offering memoranda, legal documentation, servicing reports, and diligence materials.
• Support transaction underwriting, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
• Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to senior investment professionals.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging credit risks.
• Maintain market coverage across specialty finance originators, investment banks, and structured credit issuers.
• Work with large, complex datasets to evaluate performance trends and key investment drivers.
• Assist with portfolio analytics, surveillance, and reporting initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance research, modeling, and portfolio management processes.
