Job summary

Manatal is seeking Structured Cabling Technicians (Level II/III) for a ground-up build in Sparks, NV. The role focuses on structured cabling installation on a new construction site, with potential fiber work as skill level grows.

Candidates should be self-directed, reliable on active jobsites, and committed to long-term project stability. Applicants must have 3–5 years of cabling experience, OSHA 10, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of structured cabling experience required.
• Data center construction experience preferred but not required.
• Fiber optic experience is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and site policies.
• Assist the project team with structured cabling installation activities.
• Maintain jobsite organization and housekeeping; organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
• Apply knowledge of structured cabling materials and installation methodologies.
• Manage time, manpower, and materials effectively.
• Interface with customers and project leadership professionally.
• Deliver assignments on schedule and within budget per standards.
• Perform project closeout and as-built drawings.
• Ask relevant questions before starting work.
• Maintain compliance with customer security requirements.
• Complete timesheets, PTP, and TBT documentation on time.
• Adhere to company, client, and industry quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on site.
