Job summary

Prime Partners in Sparks, NV is hiring Structured Cabling Technicians (Level II/III) for a ground-up construction site. You will install structured cabling and fiber as skill level allows, working hands-on with minimal direction on a large, high-visibility project.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and on-time delivery, with opportunities for long-term project stability. Candidates should have 3–5 years of cabling experience, OSHA 10, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while reading floor

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Structured cabling experience required.
• Data center construction experience preferred but not required.
• Fiber optic experience is a plus.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working independently and staying productive with minimal direction.
• Strong communication skills and reliability on active jobsites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and operate in construction environments.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and worksite rules.
• Assist the project team with structured cabling installation.
• Maintain jobsite organization and housekeeping.
• Read floorplans and specifications.
• Apply knowledge of structured cabling materials and methods.
• Manage time, manpower, and materials.
• Interface professionally with customers and project leadership.
• Deliver assignments on schedule and within budget.
• Complete closeout documentation and as-built drawings.
• Understand tasks and ask relevant questions before starting work.
• Maintain compliance with customer security requirements.
• Complete paperwork on time (timesheets, PTP, TBT).
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Maintain professional appearance on site.
