Job summary

GridSource in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to install, test, and maintain telecom infrastructure in MDUs and SFUs. Training is offered and a sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for qualified candidates.

You will perform installations, troubleshoot services, and document work while ensuring safety and quality. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in telecommunications or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a technician in telecommunications, cable, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, signal flow, and equipment installation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot service issues as they arise.

We have a full-time need for a Structured Cabling Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting services in Multiple Dwelling Units (MDUs) and Single-Family Units (SFUs). Your expertise will ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction, contributing to our mission of providing reliable telecommunications solutions.

What You’ll Do
