Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to install, maintain and repair low-voltage cable infrastructure and support customer service on diverse job sites. You will test cables, troubleshoot issues and document work to ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug and background screens. OSHA preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in cabling or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass drug and background screen.
• BICIS preferred.
• Manufacturer training preferred.
• OSHA preferred.
• Knowledge of National Building Codes and standards.

Mansioni

• Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issues.
• Identify, track and remove abandoned cables.
• Test every newly installed or relocated cable in accordance with established procedures.
• Keep cable neatly tied and bundled while maintaining safety standards.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of National Building Codes and standards.
• Record time and materials used.
• Assist other team members with installation and maintenance.
• Work in various environments including outdoors in varying degrees of weather, at heights, and in small confined spaces.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and test equipment.

As a Structured Cabling Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing cable infrastructure in a low voltage environment. The ideal candidate will be able to meet the physical demands of the work site as well as provide excellent customer service. We are looking for career-minded candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.
