Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Project Lead – Data Center Cabling Crew to oversee daily field operations for data center cabling installations in Lebanon, IN. You will lead cabling technicians, coordinate with customers and site management, and ensure safe, on-schedule, high-quality work.

You will promote safety, productivity, and professionalism while ensuring adherence to customer requirements. The role reports to the Project Manager and manages crew leads and subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading low-voltage, structured cabling, or data center installation teams.
• Strong understanding of copper and fiber optic cabling systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of data center construction practices and customer standards.
• Proficiency with project documentation and reporting.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

• Assist with project documentation, testing, labeling, closeout, and turnover activities.
• Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and technical knowledge.

Project Lead – Data Center Cabling Crew

Project Lead is responsible for overseeing daily field operations for data center cabling installations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role provides leadership to cabling technicians, coordinates project activities with customers and site management, tracks progress, manages materials and manpower, and serves as the primary field point of contact for the project team. The Project Lead promotes a culture of safety, productivity, and professionalism while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
