Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Project Lead – Data Center Cabling Crew to oversee daily field operations for data center cabling installations in Lebanon, IN. You will lead cabling technicians, coordinate with customers and site management, track progress, manage materials and manpower, and serve as the primary field contact for the project team.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities, planning and prioritizing installation work, ensuring quality and safety, and mentoring crew members.

Qualifications

• Experience leading low-voltage cabling or data center installation teams.
• Strong understanding of copper and fiber optic cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of data center construction practices and customer standards.
• Proficiency with project documentation and reporting.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Project Lead – Data Center Cabling Crew

The Project Lead is responsible for overseeing daily field operations for data center cabling installations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role provides leadership to cabling technicians, coordinates project activities with customers and site management, tracks progress, manages materials and manpower, and serves as the primary field point of contact for the project team. The Project Lead promotes a culture of safety, productivity, and professionalism while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and standards .

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, IN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
