Zusammenfassung

TSMC Arizona is seeking a highly skilled Structured Cabling Engineer to lead design, planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of our structured cabling infrastructure across enterprise IT, manufacturing, and data centers.

You will work with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and support for critical operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience managing installation vendors across large projects.
• Knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, SM/MM Fiber, MPO/MTP, LC/SC connectors, patch panels, and NEC/TIA/BICSI standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate structured cabling installation for offices, manufacturing facilities, and data centers.
• Develop project schedules, WBS, and deployment plans; track milestones.
• Design and manage copper and fiber optic cabling systems; review routes and pathways.
• Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and company standards; validate labeling and as-builts.
• Verify cable testing results (Fluke, OTDR, loss); conduct site inspections and handovers.
• Maintain cable databases, asset inventories, and update AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare weekly status reports; forecast resource requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors, construction, MEP, facilities, and equipment teams.
