Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a highly skilled Structured Cabling Engineer to lead the design, planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of structured cabling infrastructure that supports our enterprise IT, manufacturing, and data center environments.

This role collaborates with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-schedule delivery and quality standards across our Phoenix facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience managing installation vendors.
• Knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, SM/MM Fiber, MPO/MTP, LC/SC connectors, patch panels, cable management, TIA-568, BICSI, ANSI/TIA standards and NEC requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate structured cabling installation for offices, manufacturing facilities, and data centers.
• Design and manage copper and fiber cabling systems.
• Verify testing results (Fluke, OTDR) and conduct site inspections.
• Maintain cable databases and update AutoCAD drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet milestones.
• Track punch lists and ensure proper project handover.
