Job summary

MJ&H in Ponca City, Oklahoma is seeking a structural welder to join our fabrication team. Responsibilities include welding structural steel components per shop drawings and weld symbols, following WPS, maintaining dimensional accuracy, and safe shop practices.

Your experience with fillet and groove welds, ability to read drawings, and adherence to quality standards will be essential. Relocation assistance available up to $4500.

Qualifications

• Must pass MJ&H structural weld tests.
• Read and interpret structural drawings and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of joint preparation and weld sizes.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel assemblies per drawings and weld symbols.
• Perform fillet, groove, and other welds per WPS requirements.
• Follow WPS requirements and ensure weld quality.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work area clean.
• Identify and report drawing discrepancies or defects.
