The Welder is a welding professional responsible for assembling and fabricating trailer and tank/vessel components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable welding standards. This role performs structural welding using MIG and other welding processes while ensuring quality, safety, and production requirements are met in a manufacturing environment.

The Welder is frequently required to walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, crawl, lift, balance, stoop, handle materials, and squat or kneel. They must be able to stand for at least 8 hours consistently per shift without external support, and must regularly lift and move up to 49 pounds independently and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with a team lift. This role requires working both indoors and outdoors, often during inclement weather, while performing labor intensive duties. The work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions. Given the hazardous nature of the work environment, employees are required to wear company mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to welding hood, Cat2 Flame resistant shirt, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and certified welding gloves, and must strictly adhere to all safety policies, including the Companies' Life Saving Rules and procedures at all times.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
