Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on GMAW and FCAW welding experience.
• Proven experience fabricating steel frame structures.
• Plasma cutting experience.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate oilfield switch racks, panels, and steel-frame buildings to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate builds.
• Cut, shape, and prepare materials using plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and chop saws.
• Install sheet metal, doors, and related hardware to completed structures.
• Work with insulation materials as part of building assembly.
• Operate overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and forklifts to move materials and support fabrication tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and material needs.
