Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Selects appropriate welding equipment or method per specs.
• Sets up components for welding and cuts material to spec.
• Welds components in various positions (vertical/horizontal/overhead).
• Inspects and repairs equipment components; completes finishing operations.
• Maintains safety standards and house-keeping; reports maintenance needs.
• Communicates deficiencies to supervisor; supports team maintenance tasks.
