Job summary

Propulsion Controls Engineering Llc is seeking a Structural Welder Journeyman II to support Bremerton and Everett, WA locations. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of marine/shipyard experience and be capable of laying out, cutting, and welding structural components to blueprints.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, managing hot work, and fabricating assemblies using SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or BRAZE, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Associates Degree or Technical Certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and prepare base metals using air and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of gas line and fire prevention.
• Run and post hot work chits and set up worksites.
• Fabricate and template new assemblies using SMAW, FCAW, GTAW or BRAZE.
