Job summary

Klover Prefab in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Structural Fabrication Welder II to support exterior and interior wall panel fabrication for commercial buildings. You will interpret drawings, select welding methods, and weld panels using MIG in multiple positions to ensure structural integrity.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to drawings, and teamwork, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed and a schedule 5 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years MIG welding experience (or equivalent).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Trade school/vocational education in construction/carpentry.
• Current AWS D1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Gather and collect materials.
• Determine welding equipment or method from specs and drawings.
• Accurately measure and cut materials.
• Perform panel layout per drawings.
• Pre-assemble panel components for welding.
• Weld to secure panel assemblies.
• Weld in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Secure wall assembly onto crane and move to the next operation.
• Attend welder safety training.
