Job summary

Klover Prefab is seeking a Structural Fabrication Welder II on 2nd shift (3:30 PM to 2:00 AM) to support the prefabrication of exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings. You'll read shop drawings, select welding methods, assemble panels, and weld to secure assemblies.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, 5+ years MIG welding experience, and current AWS D1.1 certifications. The pay rate is $22–$26/hour, plus a $2/hour shift differential, with a comprehensive

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years MIG welding experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Trade school/vocational education in construction/carpentry preferred.
• Current AWS D1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Gather and collect materials.
• Determine welding equipment or method based on specifications and drawings.
• Accurately measure and cut materials.
• Perform panel layout per drawings.
• Pre-assemble panel components for welding.
• Weld to secure panel assemblies.
• Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Secure wall assembly onto crane and move to next operation.
• Attend welder and safety training and maintain logs for certifications.
• Perform sheathing of welded panels.
• Other duties as assigned.
