Job summary

Graywolf Integrated Construction Company is seeking Structural Welders for Cameron, LA to join our heavy industrial construction team. A Structural Welder raises, places and unites girders, columns and other structural-steel members to form completed structures or frameworks.

You will read blueprints, operate arc and MIG/TIG welding equipment, prepare material, and work safely in hot outdoor conditions. Minimum 3 years’ experience and welding certifications are required; tools and PPE provided

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Welder.
• Ability to identify welding techniques (TIG, MIG, Arc) and know metal properties.

Responsibilities

• Welding Safety – work safely around hazards in construction.
• Welding Tools – use hand, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools safely.
• Blueprint Reading – read plans, drawings, and specs to make decisions based on measurements.
