Job summary

GrayWolf is seeking a Structural Welder in Cameron, LA to join our heavy industrial team. You will raise, place and unite girders, columns and other structural‑steel members to form completed structures or structure frameworks.

The role requires reading blueprints, using welding processes, and maintaining safety while working up to a 12‑hour shift in outdoor conditions. Experience with TIG/MIG/Arc welding is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years heavy industrial welding experience.
• Proficient in TIG, MIG and Arc welding and metal properties.
• Welding certification(s) required by company/client.
• Must own locking toolbox and necessary tools.
• Successful completion of pre-hire requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld girders, columns and structural steel to form assemblies.
• Read blueprints and erection manuals to guide workmanship.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters for TIG/MIG/arc processes.
• Maintain safety practices and PPE compliance.
• Inspect welds for quality and perform minor repairs as needed.
