Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass general aptitude/basic math skills test.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs multiple times per day.
• Must pass welding coupon test.
• Must pass written welding test.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and adjust machine to obtain best possible penetration, fill, weld quality and performance.
• Operate welding machines and perform welding as required.
• Read blueprints and maintain tolerances as shown on prints.
• Assist new operators in learning safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
