Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior welding experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and metallurgy.
• Experience with SMAW or GMAW welding; x-ray quality may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, align and weld components to form structural forms.
• Select pipes and materials per specifications and plan layouts.
• Operate various welding processes as required (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW).
• Inspect welds for bead size and fusion quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment, observe safety rules.
