Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 2-4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Welds steel components or metal plates per blueprints, work orders, welding procedures, or oral instructions.
• Uses Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas-Tungsten Arc, Submerged Arc, or Shielded Metal Arc welding processes.
• Joins pipes to tanks and prepares welds, including preheating and torch adjustments.
• Removes slag and excess weld material; cleans welds and workplace as needed.
• Works on ladders/scaffolds; ensures proper weld location based on thickness and temperature.
