Job summary

Austin Engineering USA is seeking skilled Structural Welders to fabricate and repair heavy mining equipment. You will work on large components such as truck bodies, buckets, cable reels, and water tanks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will perform MIG and FCAW welding in various positions, operate fabrication tools, and inspect welds. A clear progression path offers opportunities to advance and increase earning potential within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW-P (MIG) and FCAW welding.
• Ability to pass a structural welding test.
• Experience using air arc and oxy-fuel cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW-P (MIG) and FCAW welding on heavy structural components.
• Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate air arc equipment, oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Inspect welds and repair defects as needed.
• Read and follow welding procedures, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
• Safely operate overhead hoists and handle heavy materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
