Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Welder - Structural to join steel components and metal plates using a variety of welding processes per blueprints and work orders. The role requires 2–4 years of Journeyman experience and compliance with U.S. work authorization.

You will prepare welds, execute precise joints, and maintain safety during torch operations, including at elevated locations. The position offers solid benefits and employee ownership through ESOP.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 2-4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Join steel components or metal plates per welding procedures and drawings.
• Operate Gas-Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, TIG, Submerged Arc or SMAW processes.
• Prepare weld joints, clean and degrease workpieces as needed.
• Remove excess welds and spatter; inspect weld quality and dimensions.
• Work at heights on ladders or scaffolds as required.
• Follow safety procedures and job instructions.
