Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled welders journeyman to join our fabrication team in the United States. The role involves welding assemblies, prepping parts, and following blueprints and work orders to meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include torch preheating, pipe welding, crane signaling, and cutting operations with flame or plasma equipment. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have 3–5 years of journeyman experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level welding experience required.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints and work orders.

Responsabilités

• Weld or tack weld pieces using spot or hand welding equipment.
• Unite pipes from torch to oxygen/fuel gas tanks and operate valves.
• Preheat parts with torch for welding or bending.
• Inspect pieces for deficiences and ensure they meet specs.
• Signal crane operator for lifting large parts.
• Use flame-cutting or plasma-arc tools to cut scrap metal.
