Position Introduction/Key Duties
Cimarron is seeking Structural Technicians to support the Executive Fleet program in San Antonio, TX. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of the most iconic aircraft in the world, ensuring safety, reliability, and advanced capabilities. The selected candidates for this role will need to be able to support any shift assigned (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Key Duties
- Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation of critical support structures, including fracture-critical areas, while ensuring proper alignment and fit.
- Perform efforts associated with sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving structure in accordance with standard repair processes.
- Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair of structural parts.
- Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data, including blueprints or manufactures' manuals.
- Access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate online parts and discrepancy requests.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and process specifications to execute structural modifications, repairs, and installations.
- Utilize specialized aircraft tools and test equipment, such as torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and sheet metal brakes, to complete maintenance tasks.
- Access and input aircraft data via computer systems, including initiating parts requests and documenting discrepancies.
- Work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and elevated platforms, while adhering to safety protocols such as Hazardous Energy Control and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
- This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
- 1 or more year(s) of related aircraft/aerospace experience.
- Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits as required for assigned work.
- Must be able to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays. Mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle.
- Demonstrate the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
- Ability to proficiently access and manipulate computer systems daily for work instructions, drawings, and training.
- Experience working with nonporous metals, such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless.
- Experience using structures hand tools, including drills 45 and 90 degrees, pancake adapters, counter sink cages, hole finders, and rivet guns.
- Experience working heavy structures, including locating, drilling, countersinking, and fastening structures (doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks, etc.) to aircraft.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and the replacement of components.
- Knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes, sheers, etc.
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine the functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills, Experience, And Education
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or similar certification/training.
- Experience performing advanced, large-scale maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft or other complex systems at the depot level.
- Experience working on or around an executive fleet program.
- Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding-type electric-powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignments.
