Responsibilities include assembling and installing aircraft structures per drawings, drilling close-tolerance holes, and using rivet guns and torque wrenches.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Assembler or related manufacturing role.
  • Experience working on corporate/business aircraft is required.
  • Strong experience with close-tolerance drilling and aircraft hardware.
  • Proficiency with pneumatic and electric power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft drawings and technical documentation.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following procedures.

Job description

JMC Aviation is currently recruiting Aircraft Structural Assemblers on behalf of our client in Red Oak, Texas. We are seeking experienced aircraft assemblers and structural professionals with a strong background working on corporate aircraft and a proven ability to perform precision assembly and structural installation work.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of aircraft assembly experience, or relevant manufacturing/industrial experience demonstrating the required technical skillset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft structural assembly and installation in accordance with engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Drill close-tolerance holes and install manufacturing hardware, fasteners, and related components.
  • Safely and effectively operate a variety of pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, rivet guns, torque wrenches, and other aircraft assembly equipment.
  • Read, interpret, and work accurately from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Ensure all assembly and structural work meets required quality, dimensional, and safety standards.
  • Perform precision fitting, alignment, drilling, riveting, and installation of aircraft structural components.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all applicable procedures and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Assembler, Structural Assembler, or in a comparable manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Previous experience working on corporate/business aircraft is required.
  • Strong experience with close-tolerance drilling and aircraft manufacturing hardware.
  • Proficient in the use of pneumatic and electric power tools.
  • Ability to confidently use drills, rivet guns, torque wrenches, and related tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft drawings, blueprints schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Selection Process

Candidates selected to move forward will be required to successfully complete a plate test as part of the assessment process. The plate test will evaluate practical skills relevant to the structural assembly requirements of the position.
